I'll start with the packaging. Gustus Vitae jars, perhaps, are the most convenient of all Ayerberg spices. The fact is that they have a magnet in the lower part, and because of this they are easily fixed in a convenient place at hand - on a kitchen hood, a refrigerator or, like me, on a special Ikeevsky magnetic bar. You can remove the lid and measure the spice with a spoon / pinch, you can turn the lid in one direction and pour the herbs through a large hole, you can turn to the other side and try to shake out through small holes. In addition, the package is drawn, where you can add these herbs. In the case of "Taste of Provence" it is fish, poultry, pasta, meat, bread. It is very convenient that these are pictures - do not look long, where it is written there in English. Just - picked up and saw. The composition of Gustus Vitae is completely natural, without dyes, flavors and flavor enhancers. The seasoning itself is incredibly fragrant and tasty. The composition is slightly different from the classic Provencal herbs. Here savory, thyme, rosemary, lavender, fennel. The mixture does not say that small - rosemary with whole needles, there are also small purple buds. The flavor is rich and I really like it. Clearly felt rosemary, a little lavender. There are other flavors, but I can not identify them, because I do not know all these herbs separately. Honestly, I was not a fan of Provencal herbs before, although my mother and husband just adore them. We bought different, even from France they brought us, well somehow it was not mine and that's it. I ate dishes with them, but without enthusiasm. But they really liked it. Whether a note of lavender makes them special, or something else, but suddenly I fell in love with this taste. For the first time, I began to add them myself, when I cook, mainly for meat and chicken.
